Last week I travelled out to a station to update this families portraits. I had the most wonderful afternoon with them. These guys are quite special to me, & as the next chapter of my life is taking me to Townsville, I just couldn't leave without making sure we'd updated their collection. The last time I visited for Portraits was back on their wedding day. So much has changed, that I'm very glad we took the opportunity while it was there.
Today I'm sharing a little of their session with you in case you don't know what I do. This is the making of a LifeScape. The session allows me to capture images that are a sort of 'day in the life' documentary style. Whilst they don't necessarily have to be taken at home, it's often best when kids are involved to make sure they are in an area that they are excited about & above all, comfortable with. If not at home, think park, beach, or even an outing to the ice cream shop! Throughout the duration of the shoot, there's plenty of time for stopping for snacks, drinks, clothing changes etc, whilst still capturing the REAL art of your Life.
Don't you just love love? It's what makes the world go round you know?
It's the most beautiful part of life - Love. It's the emotion that all others revolve around. It conquers all too - or so I hear.
I hope you enjoy viewing Tahnee, Ross, Hudson & Hadley's session... AND Guess what? Love is at the heart of every shot!
I am a lover of life. Light inspires me. Love gives me butterflies...AND BUTTERFLIES ROCK! xoxo Kristina
